01 · Pick one course
Start with the one that matches where you are now, not the most impressive name. If you are new to coding, that is CS50. If you already code, jump to CS50 AI or CS229.
02 · Enroll for free
Every link goes to the official course page. Nothing here requires payment or an application, though some platforms sell optional extras like paid certificates.
03 · Actually finish it
These are full university courses, not crash courses. Block a few hours a week, follow the lectures in order, and do the problem sets rather than just watching.

The course
The most famous intro to computer science in the world. CS50 teaches you how code and computers actually work, from C and Python to algorithms and web development. It's fully free on edX, and if you complete all the problem sets and final project, Harvard gives you a free certificate.
